An airplane belonging to the Russian Air Force, which is a Tupolev Tu-95 aircraft, was involved in a crash when it was on a training mission in an empty area of the Amur region located in the east close to the Chinese border, killing six people while another survived but was admitted to the hospital. The plane was described by the Russian Defence Ministry and Russian media as a Soviet-made nuclear-capable bomber that did not carry any weapons when it went down.
